This pictures shows the position of the brake glass, outside each of the flats doors.
This is the main fire alarm panel placed in the main entrance to the property, like all fire alarm panels this one has a set code to disable and enable the system. Annual tests are required to make sure fire alarm system is working correctly.
Here is a image of the lights i installed through out the stair well and entrance hall to the commercial flats. all lights were on a timer so when someone press the push switch, they would have a a certain amount of time before the lights turned off.
All lights also had emergency battery back-up, this meant in case of power failure. the lights would be powered by the battery and light the way to exit the building in an emergency. image show me doing the final connections in the lighting terminals.
image shows potions of both light and smoke detector on the stairs.
Here is the landlords three phase consumer unit in the meter cupboard. This powered the stairs lights and sockets and also the fire alarm system in the property.
