Viva Birth

Amy was my Doula thoughout my birthing experience. She helped me immensely with advocating for myself in my pregnancy, during my birth (which was really long) and supported me after birth, which was amazing given we have no family in the area. I would highly recommend Amy for anyone looking for a Doula that provides amazing, ongoing support.

Amy was my doula at the birth of my daughter in June 2021. She offered advice on birthing positions, gave me massage oils, and made me feel really reassured and relaxed.
Amy was a calming presence, reassuring my husband and I that things were progressing and letting us know what to expect throughout the day with labour. She supported me physically by placing ice packs on my back and encouraged breathing techniques she taught me.
Amy is a very special person and it is thanks to her that I had the birth that I had planned and hoped for. It was vital to have her by our side when I was in labour, she helped me stay on track so that I could honour my birth plan. Any visited us after the birth, bringing delicious home cooked meals to us and offering advice. I couldn’t recommend Amy enough and feel so fortunate to have shared this life changing experience with her. I look forward to always having her in our lives.

I cannot recommend Amy highly enough, she completely transformed my experience of birth. After falling pregnant for the third time, I was filled with absolute fear and dread based on my previous two birth experiences. Amy’s hypnobirthing course was the starting point for empowering me and making me realise that I did have a choice in making this a positive experience. She clearly laid out all the options and gave lots of practical advice. Thanks to Amy I decided to have my first ever home birth, it was the best decision ever as the birth was the smoothest and most relaxed of the three!

Amy was also present at birth as my doula. She was a calming presence and it was reassuring to have her by my side, always looking after my interests.

I can categorically say that without Amy I never would have had the confidence of knowledge to make the decisions I did. Amy tailored her care so that it was personal to me and my positive experience is all down to her.

Amy helped us as a postnatal doula when our boy was a few weeks old. She was such amazing help in those early days with a newborn - she’s caring, calming and immediately became a big part of our family and fitted in. With the added bonus of being an amazing cook! We recommended Amy to our friends.

Amy is one of the best doula and person, I have ever met. I would recommend her to everyone. She bared with me when I was unbearable. She looked after me when I didn’t want anyone around. But most importantly she was always there for me.
