Vision Express

i went to Vision Express Edgware recently and my experience was terrible. I went in with my older out of date prescription glasses as my newer ones had been sent for minor repairs.
As soon as I told them that my frames and glasses were purchased abroad their attitude changed thinking I would not order my lenses or frame from them following the eye test. I have blepharitis but was not checked.I was presented to a member of staff who simply knew nothing about lenses or frames and simply not interested. I left disgusted at the poor treatment from staff.
I telephoned to discuss my concerns but nobody answered the telephone on seven occasions.When I raised this with a senior person when eventually the phone was answered I was told they were too busy to answer phone calls as they accept bookings on line. What about people who can not book on line? Please avoid these totally useless unprofessional opticians who are only interested if they think they will achieve a sale.

I had been to two other opticians very nearby before going to Vision Express. I'd asked each place the same questions about pricing and lenses.
This was the only store where I was served by someone on speed. He babbled on an on to the simplest question. But did not answer the question. He rattled of prices and offers and brought in irrelevant points. This went on for ages and he became very shirty when I tried to grasp what he was on about.
It was a draining experience and I felt that the reason for the non stop drivel was to confuse and tire people. That way they can succeed in selling you the more expensive products.
So I felt their default mode is to try and scam you, not a good impression for new person who isn't even a customer.
Avoid.
