Can't rate this highly enough! Small family run business run by Marco which makes this a far more personal friendly experience. Not forgetting the amazing food and service! I have recommended this restaurant to many people and they have not been disappointed!

Long ago, this used to be my favourite Italian restaurant in the area. I haven't been there for a while, so I was pleasantly surprised, when I visited recently, to see that they still make the good food. Quite expensive though and the portions are adequate rather than good.

We have been regular customers of Sambuca over several years, and have always thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The food is fantastic – fresh ingredients, home made, seasonal, and cooked to an exceptional standard. The presentation is always superb, and value is fantastic.

Indeed, we have enjoyed it so much that we decided to host our wedding lunch there in December (2011). As you can imagine, this was a big day for us and we trusted that Marco and his family would be able to deliver to the standards that we had experienced previously.

In fact… they surpassed any expectation we had. The whole day, meal, service – everything – was flawless. Seriously, we would not have changed a thing. Every dish on every course had family and friends raving about how much they enjoyed it.

In addition to the food, we have always enjoyed the ambience – on this day they excelled themselves. Sambuca is a family run restaurant who truly value their customers and go out of their way to provide you with a great experience.

If you enjoy eating in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment – enjoying quality food at a very reasonable price – Sambuca cannot be faulted. We are already planning out return and can heartily recommend that you give it a try too.
