Atsushi graduated from the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria in Cremona in 1998.

He Studied under Ezio Scarpini and Claudio Amighetti.

After graduating, he researched violin acoustics extensively with his stepfather, Dr Eberherd Michaelis.

His speciality is producing violins with fine penetrating sounds and small violas with powerful presence; both perfect for concerts.

His instruments are renown both for their beautiful varnish and excellent acoustics, which carry especially well in large halls.

We welcome violinists and violists to try Atsushi's instruments for recording clips to be uploaded onto his website and Instagram page. We will of course credit all artists in published videos.

Affordable high quality instruments

Atsushi Oike is the friendliest and most humble violin maker I have come across. With each instrument, he tries to expand his skills of creating a superb new violin or viola, never just copying his own or other masters’ works.
Highly to be recommended for advanced players and professionals. Don’t be mistaken if you find his prices low, this luckily doesn’t represent the high quality.
