Having booked and confirmed 2 separate appointments for the same job, both times their electrician failed to turn up, with no communication from Village Heating to explain why. I had to to chase and find out where their contractor was well after the expected time of arrival. 2 days of holiday wasted waiting round for someone not to turn up. Poor service and I will not be using this company again.

I hired village heating for a power flush job.
After £500 job i was left with no hot water. i asked them to come back i was told that wasn't related and advised me to get more work done.
i paid another £500 to fix the hot water. which was fixed finally. however half of my radiators stoped working and once again the want me to hire them for the third times with another £500 job. i finally said no THANK YOU.
one month later again no hot water. called them to come back and check their recent job (i was given 12 month warranty) they didn't honer the warranty and asked me to pay £90 just for a visit and quoted (WE DO NOT WORK FOR FREE).
after a lot of frustration been left with not hot water and three radiators out of order. i hired a new plumber from online website. came over for 20 min
left me with hot water back on and all radiators working full capacity and charged me £60 .
please avoid at all cost specially if you don't understand plumbing. they will rip you off big time.

Save your time and money, and go with a company that is coherent and honest

Confirmed a booking with them to fix a boiler, and asked for a breakdown of the pricing (they never sent over - we got a quote with it all combined, no breakdown). Called and canceled the appointment within 2 hours due to the lack of breakdown, and was told by two people in the office - on two separate occasions - that the refund is being processed and that's not a problem. Later they changed their mind and was told we now won't be getting a refund. Went with a company who charged 3 times less, and also looked at their quote and called them a joke.
Save your time and money, and go with a company that is coherent and honest from the get go, and not one who changes their mind on a whim and blames their mistakes on other people in the office.
