We are leading specialists in our field, offering compassionate in-home palliative medicine, end-of-life vet care and gentle euthanasia services (24hrs) for dogs, cats and other companion animals. We have been looking after pets and their families in Sussex since 2005.

Dr. Suzen Gregersen, our experienced and UKs leading, certified animal hospice vet, and her small caring and personal vet team, believe in helping you keep your pet comfortable at home and with you for as long as possible when the end is approaching. This is whether old age or a terminal diagnosis is affecting your special companion.

With you, we can make a home care plan, tailored to your pet's every need and prescribe palliative medication (if needed) to prevent pain and suffering for as long as possible. We offer no tests, surgery or procedures - just comfort care with less worries and no travel.

Gentle and dignified home euthanasia is available day/night, weekends and Bank Holidays - always with a pain-free sedation so your pet passes gently in his or her sleep surrounded by loved ones. No prior registration necessary for our services and we work with vets all over Sussex for this special home service.

We are just a few dedicated, caring and animal-loving vets - and we feel it's an honour to help you and your pet and to stay at home. We will do our utmost to make a very sad event as beautiful as we possibly can.

Treated with such dignity and respect

The time had come to say goodbye to my faithful friend Bo, at the grand age of 14 1/2 she was tired and becoming increasingly uncomfortable with arthritis despite her medication. No matter how many dogs you've said goodbye to in the past it never gets any easier. I cannot recommend Vets2Home highly enough. Dr Jo came and was so compassionate, kind and caring. everything was explained and Bo's companion was allowed to remain with her. The first injection put Bo into a very deep sleep, there was then time to say final goodbyes before the last injection was administered. Dr Jo then placed Bo in a bed, and covered her with a blanket. Her passing was so peaceful, she knew she was loved until the very end. Dr Jo arranged the cremation and Bo's ashes are now back home. Everything was carried out with such dignity, I could not have asked for anything better. Dr Jo, Dr Suzen and their small team are amazing people with a very special gift.

A gentle, painless, fear-free parting - our last gift to our beloved companion.

We used Pets2Home before many years ago and there was no question that we would ask them to put our beautiful cat and companion, Keisha, to sleep this time. With a distressing illness that had worsened over 2 years and now cancer diagnosed, it was time to free her. Dr Suzen is an emotionally intelligent person - as well as an excellent vet. She explained everything. Keisha was unaware and enjoying being stroked and loved. The first injection put her into a deep coma and we had more time to stroke and love her as she drifted off. We were left alone to say our goodbyes but knew Dr Suzen was right there if needed. Finally, when Keisha was in a deep coma, after careful checking, the final injection was administered and it was all over. Keisha had a good death and that has helped us with coming to terms with her loss. No visit to a vets (often perceived as scary); no turning out when she felt ill. Just here, with us, being loved and slipping away gently. Vets2Home thank you.

Wonderful assistance in a very difficult and sad situation with our 16 year old cat Jack

Having agreed with Ark Vetinary that we would like to have Jack (our 16 year old cat) die at home they recommended Vets2Home. Within 3 hours it had been handled with care and kindness by all the staff and Dr. Jo who came to us. We can't recommended them more highly and soon his ashes will be back with us.

Wonderful care and service

I would just like to thank Susan for her extraordinary care and support during a difficult time letting go of our beloved dog Jasmine. I cannot recommend Susan at Vets2Home highly enough. She was absolutely fantastic throughout, from the palliative care the night before through to the next day when it was time to say goodbye. She was also wonderfully compassionate towards my Mum who was heartbroken by the loss of her little best friend and our Jasmine was able to pass peacefully at home surrounded by the people she loved and who loved her so much. Susan also arranged for Jasmine's cremation and looked after her at her home for the few days until that time, which put our minds at rest to know that even after death she was still being cared for respectfully. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vets2Home to anyone.
