Award Winning IT Recruitment Consultants
Venturi is a specialist IT recruitment agency founded in 2009 by Brad Lamb & James Doyle who were determined to build a company that put customer experience first. Our peers recognise us as one of the best in the industry and the ‘Recruiter Fast 50’ has listed us as one of the fastest growing IT recruitment agencies in the country. We do things differently and that stems from our three core values; Inspire. Invest. Innovate
Invest
We know investing in our own talent is fundamental to our continued success and growth. Our industry-recognised training has built some of the UK’s best IT recruiters, nurturing them every step of the way from apprentice to director. With clear routes to progression and promotion, a motivating commission structure, and an exceptional incentive scheme, we understand a happy team is a productive team. But our commitments extend beyond the boundaries of our business. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme we are working to make a positive impact on the community around us. Creating a strong business and building a better society are not conflicting goals – they are both essential ingredients for long-term success.
Inspire
We draw inspiration from our culture. A culture only exists because of the people who occupy it. You can only be inspired by truly listening to others. We are constantly inspired by our people, and watching them flourish is as fulfilling experience as any. That’s why a core belief of ours is to provide bespoke tools for each member of staff, giving them the best possible chance of success in their career. At Venturi – people inspire people.
Innovate
We do things differently here. Our success hinges on our unparalleled ability to attract and engage top technical talent. Venturi’s Voice blog and Podcast.

Reviews
Deceiving and money-grubbing liars
11. Mr. Lewis Blades, the consultant, suggested I should stop applying for roles after the interview was arranged, which was plainly weird. In reality, you don't stop applying for jobs just because you get called for an interview! But the likely intention behind this consultant was for me to ramp up my chances of landing him commission by only focusing on the interview, not avoiding putting all my eggs in one basket.

2. I was promised feedback within a week, albeit it took 10 days for Lewis to respond! In relation to a company I applied for which wasn't his client, he tried dissuading me from pursuing them! He did this utterly unacceptable act just so he could use me to land commission and hit his KPIs! But if they were his client, his approach would dramatically and hypocritically change! I learnt a key lesson here: never divulge companies you've applied for to agencies, regardless of what they say. (read next comment for a continuation)
3. Lewis Blades rang me saying he was unaware of application status was, he would tell me the outcome when he knew it and that the client paused recruitment for the job. In reality, there was no pausing of recruitment as I found the SAME vacancy advertised by the company on a different website, without the use of an agency, and ANOTHER advert by the agency for the same role. A few days later, the client contacted me directly saying the individual was ALREADY informed of my application status and that he was lying when he said he wasn't aware of it. Moreover, the client said recruitment for the role was NOT postponed and, as aforementioned, I noticed the SAME stakeholder advertised the SAME vacancy online after speaking with me, falsifying the allegation that postponement materialised. 4. Priya Gathani, Lewis Blades' manager rang me the day after, fumbling while spewing out lies around how he got confused between roles, why feedback did not ensure when outcome was KNOWN and why I was mendaciously told the client put the brakes on hiring. No apologies came from anyone. Throughout the entire involvement with Lewis Blades, I had a strong impression he was sly and very motivated to land commission by trying everything he could to put me off other roles and ensure I would not change my mind about their client. Many consultants are like this, but this applies more so to the young, materialistic ones who are driven by money, not the intrinsic value of actually landing someone a job to thereby contribute to society in these economic times. Most who have endured negative experiences with the agency will not be proactive and share them to prevent recurrences, so don't assume similar incidents are infrequent. Also, notice ALL their reviews on the Glassdoor site are surprisingly five-stars and shy away from all weaknesses, subterfuge and wrongdoings. One may ask why and the answer is simple. They harbour ulterior motives underlying such flashy reviews, hence are less likely to be sincere and balanced than negative ones. As a tiny company, they've colluded with employees they like to exaggerate the alleged benefits while ignoring weaknesses with their vain subjective biases and motives, in a bid to defeat competitors and sustain the materialistic culture. Thankfully, not everyone will be misled of such semblances and affirm what they unconsciously expect to. They are so zealous for expansion and profits that moral values are disregarded in their pursuit to reach this. I urge everyone, be it companies or candidates to refrain from using this agency to avoid disappointment.
