Vauxhall - Evans Halshaw

i recently purchase my 2 year old astra from vauxhall newport.
The experience from when I called them to driving away was faultless. Phil within the used cars was brilliant he delivered on everything he said he would and we even got a cup of tea.
great service and would really recommend them.

Please don’t go near Evans Halshaw, Spytty, Newport! We bought a used car from this dealership, our local garage said it was a ‘shambles’ and to take it back! We took it back to the dealership within 5 days, leaving it and the keys with them. Evans Halshaw refused to give us our money back and after 4 months of worry and stress, and having no other car, we had to accept a ‘preferential exchange’ – however, the sting in the tail is that they gave us £791 less than we paid for the car towards the ‘preferential exchange’ vehicle! They say it’s because of depreciation – after 5 days! We have been cheated by people who have no sense of decency and a company where sharp practice pervades everything they do. Buyer beware here, customer service is non existent – they will do anything not to give you a refund and treat you very badly in the process!
