Avoid Finleys now Vantage same company different name!
1My family have fallen victim to Finleys/Vantage's subpar services and deceitful practices. Despite paying £14,700, they:
- Failed to properly point the chimney (twice)
- Left water and damp ingress unaddressed
- Provided a worthless warranty
- Refused to seal the flat roof, causing water damage in the kitchen
- Refused to fix broken tiles, allowing water to enter
- Ignored requests for quotes to rectify their damages
We have email evidence proving they were aware of these issues.
Protect yourself and your loved ones. Avoid Finleys/Vantage, as they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and property integrity.

Really disappointing experience
1My experience was to be let down twice by them failing to show up for an appointment to quote us for work. Twice we organised our day to be available for the appointment and twice we were told that they had tried to call to confirm the appointment and that we had not answered. When we explained that both of our phones had full signal and we'd had no calls the excuse was a "glitch in the system". In the end we cancelled and went with another company.
Price Rise
1Approaching the 6 week point, having heard nothing from Findley, I phoned them. When I spoke with the installation team I was informed the price was now over 50% higher than the original quote, an increase of over £2000. I was offered the work done with different materials at a similar price to the original quote. I asked for this quote to be emailed to me for consideration, it never arrived.
I have been offered and, due to a lack of trust in the company, asked for my deposit back, not yet received at time of review. I have wasted 6 weeks of summer weather waiting for Findley, with an unsatisfactory conclusion. I will offer my business elsewhere in the hope of finding someone to completed before winter.

Unfortunately on rare occasions our technical survey, which is the second visit carried out after you agree work with us can expose issues which effects the cost of a job. In this case something fairly unusual had existed on your roof which was discovered on our second survey of the property.
