UK Kitchens 4 U

This Kitchen company paid for a skip to be emptied and the people he used chose the corner of my car park as the best place to dump the contents. The owner of the kitchen company offered to ‘split the cost’ of me now having the rubbish removed but has otherwise absolved himself of any responsibility for clearing it up or having it disposed of properly. When I suggested that this was not acceptable to me he stated that he would simply dispute any invoice that I send him for the cost of clearing the rubbish and then slammed the phone down.

I am sure that most people would be disgusted by this business owners attitude and would expect him to feel at least moral obligation for clearing the rubbish rather than leaving it to somebody else. As for expecting me to contribute towards the cost, I was somewhat lost for words, although I have now thought of a few!

He is now threatening to sue me for publicising this situation even though I am simply reporting the facts.

The transformation of our kitchen is stunning! The team could not do enough. I had to put all the kitchin in storage - they went and picked up all of the kitchen in their van, took on all of the work (new ceiling, plastered, installed everything including all appliances, units, plumbing).
