Business overview

Enjoyable, fun day Italian cooking courses, 3 course lunch including wine. One or more sessions available. Ideal for an event or a celebration. Gift vouchers available.

Jennie has been cooking professionally for over 30 years, having initially trained at Prue Leith’s in London. After running a café/restaurant in Totnes she operated a corporate catering business for several years before moving to Tuscany.

After living in Northern Tuscany for 17 years, where we ran our guest house and residential cooking courses - we are now back in the UK, and in response to many requests from past customers, we are resuming our cooking courses - but on a much smaller scale.

Our idea is to have a series of ‘fun’ Italian cooking days. People can come to one or more sessions, which will take place in our kitchen in Evesham. We will be flexible regarding days and dates and will repeat topics if needed - in other words, to suit you!

Italian cooking class

We had a lovely day at Tuscan Treats. Jennie gave us a really warm welcome and, along with her assistant Tess, demonstrated some wonderful Tuscan cooking. After making 2 really simple sauces, we made our own pasta which we then turned into tagliatelle and ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. We were then guided to the dining room where we opened red and white Italian wines and were given several delicious antipasti dishes followed by the pasta we made earlier and then a fabulous semifredo which we subsequently learned how to make during the afternoon session. All in all, we had a great day and would definitely recommend it to others.
