Tri Star Recycling

I bought a second-hand tyre and rim from Tristar Recycling on 2/2/2023 for £90 through PayPal. The goods were delivered on 7/02/23. I returned the tyre back to Tristar unopened through DPD on 9/2/22 and was received back by Tristar recycling on 10/2/2023 at 13:58 (DPD evidence available). I raised the issue with PayPal, but they rejected my case saying the reason for my case was not covered under their policy to only intervene when the goods are "damaged" or "not as described". However, on Tristar Recycling ltd returns policy it allows returns within 14 days for full refund. Tristar confirmed receipt of my tyre on 28/2/23 at 13:53. The gentleman I spoke with confirmed that they had received the goods. However, l do not think that PayPal's rejection of my request gives Tristar the right under UK law to take my money, receive the returned goods and still refuse to refund my money. To date, the 11 July 2023, I have not received my refund from Tristar Recycling.

This business took payment for part that they were unable to supply.
Excuse after excuse as to whey I hadn't received my items.Told I would receive refund.More excuses as to why I had not got that either.
1 month later still dont have.
Fraud department at my bank looking into this.worldpay contacted to raise issue with the retailer.
Trading standards next call on Tuesday.
