Treforest Veterinary Clinic

I started using Treforest Vets when Mr Marshall was still there and he was an exceptional vet. However I still use this practice and wouldn't go anywhere else. Mr Priest is now the senior vet there and he is also a brilliant, kind and compassionate vet. I am happy to see any of the vets there but opt for Mr Priest whenever possible just because I've been used to taking my cats to him for so many years. His always puts the animals first but is also very caring with their owners. If there is any way an animal can be treated Mr Priest will find it - I have total confidence in the way he treats my pets. I would also like to say that ALL the staff are extremely helpful and compassionate. I have several veterinary practices close to my home but prefer to travel the extra distance to use Treforest vets - I recommend them 100%.

Just a quick review ,started using Mr Marshall the owner and main vet when he was in cardiff on the recommendation of several owners at a dog show before we bought our first Doberman in 1982 and stopped about 2 yrs ago when our Rottie died .I can honestly say he's one of the few who care about the animals in his trust and not the money side of it ,we had no expensive test like you see on tv and only 2 blood tests in approx 25 yrs ,and 1 was for parvo ,which by the way the pup was saved and that was before the drugs was available for treatment .I can only speak for Mr Marshall ,as we only saw him unless he was away or on his day off .We had several operations performed over the yrs with no problems afterwards .We travelled 18 miles each way to see him ,when there's 2 vets in Llantwit Major 1 within a 100 metres or so and another couple on the way .
