Simple the best around.

We recently got our stairs and landing carpet fitted. Ken was great to deal with. Offering many choices of carpet. Which was arguably the best price around. The fitting took place a few weeks ago. No faults or flaws. An amazing professional job.
The time we were given for the laying was very accurate. Which the guys had the work completed in next to no time at all.
They were very professional and courteous whilst here. The fitting is second to none.
I highly recommend Treadwell. And look forward to using them again. You won’t be disappointed at all.

Terrible after sales service - avoid at all costs.

Terrible after sales service. I had vinyl fitted for my tenant throughout the kitchen, dining area and hall, all in one piece. The vinyl lifted around the edges when the tenant was cleaning. The tenant asked for beading for the edges which I supplied and the tenant installed. However, the vinyl was still lifting and shifted to form ridges. Treadwell came out to look at it and blamed the tenant for dragging chairs across the floor- in a dining room! The vinyl had clearly not been sufficiently glued to the floor which it should have been. When talking to Treadwells on the phone I wasn't allowed to speak for interruptions so I hung up. It would have been great if Treadwells had said they'd come round and reglue the vinyl to the floor, but they continued to blame the tenant.

Sheena, The vinyl we fitted had been down for over 12 months in 1 of your rented properties.You rang to tell me that the vinyl was lifting.I got my fitter out to the property in less than 24 hours to rectify the problem.Residential vinyl will only lift if it has had water underneath it or like something has been dragged over it causing it to ruck up.My fitter took photos of the vinyl what had holes in it and rips.Not from the lack of adessive we had “not” used. I actually sent you the photos on WhatsApp. When we left it was flat, hole free and rip free but 12 months or so later the floor has gained rips and holes and that's our fault according to you. It's a shame you didn't write us a positive review from the first time you used us when the same fitter done another one of your rented houses where you had him moving furniture, white good etc what wasn't part of the deal but hey we didn't moan and you was happy with the service back then as well as the price cos you came back to us.

Avoid - lacking in quality and good service

Terrible customer service. David is rude and unbelievably unapologetic when his fitter had made many errors due to what appears to be rushed, shoddy and untidy work. David, You need to learn about customer service! I never write bad reviews but wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. We have lost faith and confidence in Treadwell carpets!

Andrea,First of all ive never met you in person and it was my Dad who was dealing with your mum. At the time your mums new carpet was being fitted our shop had to close as I was self isolating as my Dad who was dealing with your mum had caught covid. My fitter had not come in to contact with us so he we ok to carry on working.On the day your mums carpet was being fitted his daughter had been rushed into alder hey. He phoned me up telling me he’d cut up your mums carpet wrong and could I get another carpet.I told him to fit your mums carpet even if it wasn’t right cos I didn’t want her left without no carpet and apologise to her.You knew the job needed replacing. When I told you our situation about us being closed you just said “Well let’s just blame covid” I thought that was pretty poor you saying that.I don’t really know what else you wanted me to do? The fitter made an error and he himself rectified it. We are only human and we do make mistakes but we rectified your mums.
