As an aquarist of many years standing I was most impressed by this shop. It was good to see that the owners took care to quarantine their stocks before putting them on sale (which is not always the case at some establishments). The staff are obviously knowledgable and extremely helpfull. I have kept fish for 50 plus years and it was good to chat with people who have the same love for the hobby as myself. A definite place to visit for the new and old aquarist.

great shop,darren very helpful and was there at the start with ian (rip) great prices, on frozen rep food, cheapest in town, very efficient, and will not kick you out the shop if you dont buy anything like the one up by wilkinsons in town a very underated shop and whatever you want they will try to get at sensible money

I visited this shop recently March 2012. It was bigger than I had thought. It had a large selection of fish downstairs. They fish looked healthy and the tanks were very clean. They had a good selection of pet products. There were some beautiful tanks upstairs. Upstairs was a good choice of rabbits, birds and reptiles. The staff were very friendly and helpfu. I understand the new owners are brothers and one or two of them are onsite every day. I would definitely shop there again.
