I'm Nicola the founder of Tranquillity Weddings. I've not always been a Wedding planner but with a strong passion for planning and design, from my first picture to watching my aunt design and create wedding dresses only made my passion stronger. Embracing art and fashion textiles became more stronger through school.

Having worked in the fashion retail industry, I realised that I was able to bring my creativity to life through designing window displays, and arranging promotional events and charity catwalk shows. This eventually le to me switching careers by working in a hotel as a wedding and special events manager, where I worked closely with couples, alongside our suppliers and designing wedding packages. I arranged show rounds, menu tastings and organising wedding open days, however, after a while I felt like I wasn't fulfilling my dream. So I made the decision to become a wedding planner. To further my career I gained diplomas in wedding planning and wedding and event management.

When I'm not working there's nothing I like more than coming home and spending some quality time with my fiancé John. I love Snuggling up with a film, a glass of wine and maybe some cheeky chocolates.

I also enjoy hosting dinner parties for family and friends and the guilty pleasure of a pamper weekend with the girls.
