TRAINWIZE Driving School covers all areas in and around Durham and Sunderland. You will benefit from over 39 yearsÂ’ experience we have in delivering driving lessons and instructor training.

we aim to achieve a Grade A lesson every time, this is a the highest possible grade given from DVSA on a standards Check.

Training is undertaken only by myself and hand picked trainers, and always on a one to one bases.

We have always taken advantage of opportunities to maintain and improve my training, knowledge and techniques by Continuous Personal Development.

Amazing Lessons & experience!

I’ve just passed my driving test first time with no minors after having lessons with Mark. He is a great instructor, very clear, calm and patient. We were provided with booklets with everything we needed to know (show me tell me, test routes etc) at the very beginning. I couldn’t recommend Trainwize more! Mark is an excellent teacher, and has provided me with everything driving I need to know. He is always willing to go to extra mile for everyone. Thank you!

Fantastic driving school, Mark was very patient and understanding especially with baby brain for the last few weeks before my test. Happily, I managed to pass first time, cheers Mark.

Andrew is a great driving instructor! I had a driving license from another country and he helped me build my confidence to drive in the UK. I passed the automatic driving test first time and I will definitely use Trainwize again if I decide to learn to drive manual transmission in the future. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic teaching - Mark is very patient, helpful and gives very good advice/tips! We drove on all of the test routes which was super helpful for the driving test (and overall experience of driving on different roads). Very reliable instructor, and always willing to go the extra mile with questions when I was practicing outside of lessons. I previously hated driving, but after having lessons with Mark, I like it a lot more. 110% would recommend as a driving instructor.
