My past employment and voluntary positions have been focused around others in a listening, understanding and supportive role. Following my own positive experience of being counselled at a time when I was in a bad place after a culmination of personal events, and the difference it made for me, I made the decision to use my past experiences to help others. I trained as a Person-Centred Counsellor and I am fully qualified.

I would like to offer you the same opportunity that I was given, to feel heard and understood without being judged.

I have a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Person-Centred Counselling awarded by the University of Suffolk.

The course I completed is recognised by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am an registered member of BACP and I abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Profession.

The necessary insurance is in place for private work.

Throughout my training and since being qualified I have worked with many different issues and difficulties. I have been volunteering with CRUSE Bereavement for 3 years.

Being a Person-Centred Counsellor, means the counselling is led by you during the session and I will not direct you in what to say or do. We will work together helping you explore ways forward that feel right for you in an environment which provides a confidential, safe space within a supportive non-judgemental relationship allowing you to explore and understand your feelings.

I can offer help with many different issues and mental health problems, having a special interest and experience with clients facing difficulties around: Bereavement, Loss of any kind, Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Panic attacks, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and understanding anxiety surrounding the Coronavirus Virus.
