Top Notch Sash did a brilliant job renovating all our sash windows.We also had them double glazed
and at the same time had some bespoke plantation shutters fitted which look very swish.
We've really noticed the difference this winter.The house has been much warmer with no cold draughts blowing in through the windows.

We have some softwood casement windows several of which were quite badly rotted at the bottom, including the sills. We had contemplated replacing them but Top Notch offered to renovate them at a fraction of the cost. Jon proceeded to remove all the bad wood and replace it with hardwood sections, ingeniously cut and shaped to fit the existing profiles. Now that they are sanded and stained they are an exact match for the original – so not only are they “good as new”, but being repaired with hardwood they are in fact “better than new”! We were most impressed with Jon’s expertise and his amazing work rate. He has the ability to work out what needs to be done – and the right tools and skills to solve any problems – and just gets on with it! Not only that – he cleared up afterwards and left no trace of his endeavours! We are delighted with the result and would highly recommend Top Notch Sash!

we had some ridiculous quotes from builders to replace our beautiful, originalFrench doors. i'm pleased we found TopNotch Sash as Jon was able to renovate and repair the doors so they look like new.

On time, on budget and a brilliant job. Jon has worked on a number of our properties but our poor old curved on plan sash windows we're cold and draughty and has seen better days. But now they look great and we're super cosy. Thanks Jon, we'd highly recommend you!

We commissioned Top Notch to repair a large bay window including replacing significant woodwork and several double glazed panes as part of house renovation. We later found that the work was seriously substandard with 80% of the putty used falling off, woodwork not treated correctly and the some wrong panes replaced. We paid out over £600 to have the work repaired by a decent contractor with Jon at Top Notch refusing to deal with the issue. I'd strongly advise avoiding this company as you do not want the grief it will bring.
