Tile N Trim

Started to retile bathroom, then ghosted us after we paid half the money for the job. Left us with a bathroom floor that was part tiled, part ply, part bare, & without a bathroom door. Some of the tiles he put down he took back up himself because he hadn't refitted our toilet properly and it leaked while the adhesive was drying. The last time we saw him he left his bag to prove he was coming back (to convince us to pay half), and after a week of not hearing from him again we opened it and it was mostly empty apart from some tile spacers and a trowel. He didn't let us know he wasn't coming back. When we got new people in, it turned out that they had to rip up everything because he had used wall adhesive on the floor. We had to buy new flooring because the adhesive on the tiles rendered them unusable. In all, Clay has caused an additional £800+ cost to our job - the money we paid him, the resources we paid for that he wasted/were incorrect, & the additional costs to correct his work.

Had Clay in to do a small kitchen splash back this week & his work is exceptional! Could not fault a single thing. Professional from start to finish and also a very polite young man. Will definitely recommend to friends & family
