After booking in my vehicle for the advertised ‘all makes and models’ mot and of £35 and £89 respectively i picked up my car (which passed its MOT) to be found to have been charged over double the advertised price without my knowledge or consent. When a complaint was raised i was told i was wrong to assume the advertised rate is what i would recieve and the company stood by their member of staff who claims she told me verbally over the phone that this would be case. No such effort was made and no proof could be provided by the company (as this is not what was asked for - i had no knowledge of any other price or agreement). The advertisement doesn’t say ‘from’ 35 and 89 - it simply states all makes and models 35 and 89 respectively. I am disgusted and have now made reports to trading standards, action fraud and my bank after the company has chosen not to reimburse the wrongfully taken funds and has offered me no apology - even going so far as to ignore my further correspondance.

I brought an insignia from here, I believed it would go through the workshop before I collected it, I don't believe it had been in the workshop, very quickly I discovered the aircon compressor was seized, I contacted Thurlby and was fobbed off with its warranty, contact the warranty company, they repaired the car under warranty which was good, but my garage found all four brake discs are worn out, I should of checked before purchase but the promise of the car going through the workshop I presumed anything like that would be sorted. I have since found out there is a major failing with the Vauxhall diesel engine with a simple oil seal in the sump, Vauxhall have quoted me £1325.00 plus VAT to change the seal before it fails and destroys the engine. Don't buy a Vauxhall diesel, other garages are available, or get any car here properly checked by an independent garage before purchase

A good experience with great customer service.
A car to buy with one to exchange, the journey started two days ago and ended today, just in time for the weekend. Some minor detail to finish off next week but all arranged, no hassle. Looking forward to exchanging a second car later in the year. Well done guys.

its both disappointing and depressing to get bad service from any dealership such as themselves in this day and age. They made promises but didn't deliver. What an awful mistake buying from these guys
