Exeter based furniture restorer specialising in Vintage/Retro, Mid-Century Modern and Classic furniture design. We buy, restore and sell.

At Thomas Norris we try not to 'over restore', our furniture has 'lived' and we like to show that. All our repairs are purposefully left visible although subtle in colour so buyers know what they are getting. We use traditional techniques and finishes to maintain as close to the original finish as possible - these items are purposefully not restored to 'as new factory finish'. We leave undersides of flat surfaces in original finish and condition to allow buyers to see how they have lived.

Excellent Ercol

We were looking for an ercol sofa and chair and we found the right place with Thomas Norris . Harriet has a love for ercol we share and we are now the proud owners of exactly the sofa and chair we wanted in exactly the colour fabrics we wanted , we could not be more pleased . Harriet was both friendly and knowledgeable to deal with and interested in getting it right for us, we would thoroughly recommend Thomas Norris Restorations.
