Canalside country pub with beer garden and lovely decked terraces to sit and eat or drink, and chat with friends and family.

We have a varied food menu- everything from sandwiches to ploughman's lunches to a 2lb mixed grill! No minimum, no pressure- order whatever you like at any time and we will be happy to serve it.

Good range of real ales, 3-4 on tap at any one time, several lagers and ciders as well as a good range of wines, coffee, teas and soft drinks.

Comfortable seating, fireside sofas- plenty of choice!

We have live music most Fridays- please phone to check who is on.

Camp site and caravan site attached to pub- great for an overnight stay!

Accommodation available on a room only basis- accessed via metal external staircase.

We have a launderette, a hair & beauty salon, a small shop and a book swap service.
