The Upper Boat Inn

This place is so bad. The food we had was bland and dry and the assistant manager (with short blonde hair) was moody and stroppy and generally looked like she didn’t want to be there. If she is an assistant manager I feel sorry for the staff.
Some of the staff were friendly particularly the bartender.
There was lots missing off the menu as there has been lots of time we have gone in.
And we definitely won’t be going in again. They need more staff as everyone looked overworked and tired

Be very careful... Booked in for a meal parked fine was there for about 1 hour max. Week later had a £85 parking fine though my door for parking in the free car park !!!

Fantastic pizza once again from the upper boat, the service tops it all! Always happy waiters and waitresses, always great management working hands on and consistently friendly and accommodating!

I wouldn't give it one star the food was horrible and fly's flying around you wouldn't recommend it

Food not consistent on how it's cooked sometimes it's good other times not so good eg.roast potatoes can be hard and overcooked..
Sometimes you have a wair for food depending on what you order eg. Fish or non carvery dishes but at least it's fresh when it comes
A big downside is the Pub is dirty and in need of a good clean but they Are undertaking a complete revamp so...will rate again when it's done

Overall its good value for money especially the icecream which you can fill up as much as you like and often.
After their revamp let's hope they Keep the pub a lot Cleaner than it is now !
