The Trafalgar

My husband and i came to eat at The Trafalgar on 29/03/2014, We where very unhappy with the service and will not be returning, we ordered a 3 course and a 2 course meal, after ordering our starter It came out with in 10 minutes, the breaded mushrooms where over cooked but where edable so we didnt complain. Sadly our main course took over an hour to arrive and when we complained to the landlord he didn't really care and said it would be with us soon. When it did arrive my husbands toasted sandwich melt was not melted so we asked for it sending back and doing correctly, when the food came back out all they had done was put the sandwich back under the grill and BURNT the bread, but at least the cheese was melted! needless to say we sent it back and asked to see the manager. The response and attitude from the manger was, rude, brisk and down right unprofessional, his words where "well do you want a refund or what?" we accepted a refund and the manager brought our money over and slammed it on the table and walked off.

My husband and i are ex landlords and would never have dreamed of acting this way to any of our customers.

I will not recommend this pub to any friends and i will not be going back.

Disgusting service and management that needs to do a hospitality course asap.
