The Traditional Studio is owned and run my myself Viki Green, I have 30 years experience as a sculpture, mould maker/caster and restorer.

Gaining a degree in Conservation & Restoration at De Montfort University Lincoln, I graduated in 1997 setting up my business the same year.

My first job restoring a frame for Knebworth house...

Previous to my business I worked as a Stone Conservator restoring sculpture, memorials and monuments, spending a year working in St Mary’s Church, Abergavenny restoring and conserving all the tombs in the church mainly alabaster and limestone. Working for Michael Eastham a Sculpture Conservator.

Before I became interested in Conservation I trained as a Theatrical Prop Maker working for Stephen Pyle who was based in Hitchin.

Working on West End shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love and for Glynbourne Opera House to name but a few...

I have also been employed by the National Trust working at Shaw's Corner as a conservation cleaner looking after the house and its contents.
