The Towbar People

I cannot recommend this company. Very difficult to communicate with. All you get most of the time is the opportunity to leave a voice mail message, and then, no response. When I did manage to place an order I was asked to pay a £50 deposit which seemed reasonable. In my case the fitter arrived, and after fitting the tow bar, asked for an additional payment of £400 up front to carry out the electrical work, because he couldn’t do it at the time. I foolishly paid the money. I now realise I should have withheld a sum to be paid when the work was completed! Three weeks later the work had not been carried out and I received no response to messages I left on voice mail. I cancelled the order and wrote a one star review of the company. When the owner read my review he phoned me the same day (funny that!), made excuses, and said he would reimburse me for the work not done. One week later I am still waiting for that to happen. Also, I notice my earlier one star review had vanished!

Did a fantastic job fitting our towbar considering my husband was watching and learning lol.
Very friendly and the cheapest by far would highly recommend.

Very happy with the whole service I have received from start to finish. Easy to book. Contacted me on morning of fitting with arrival. Two friendly gentleman came and fitted tow bar. No problems at all, love that they are mobile and definitely the cheapest by far as I looked about. Definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic service. Easy and quick communication, I was clearly informed of the process along the way. Paid first invoice and the towbar arrived at home address 2 days before fitting. Then 2 friendly guys arrived at the time stated and fixed the tow bar(& removed the old one). Second invoice paid after fitting. Great value for money. Now looking forward to towing our folding camper!
