The Three Horseshoes

Tradition is at the heart of The 3 Horseshoes along with a contemporary twist. Widely considered the best bar in the area, its originality has been largely kept to ensure that current and future generations can enjoy. This theme continues through to the lounge where a modern take on tradition embraces the new Bit ‘n’ Cherry restaurant, located in the old cobblers workshop. Likewise our new bedrooms have been designed to modern standards whilst remaining inside this historic building. A couple of metres over the road you will see the old forge, hence the name ‘The 3 Horseshoes.’ Well you’ve got to have a drink whilst your horse is having the ‘missing’ shoe fitted, haven’t you?

After lying relatively dormant for over 50 years, it is only recently that The 3 Horseshoes has started to find its true potential. Once a derelict cottage and an uninspiring coal and bottle store, this fabulous space is now utilized to offer a forward thinking gastropub in traditional surroundings.
