Very accommodating

Was driving back from shopping and with short notice stopped to eat here. Was very accommodating despite not booking, food was as ordered and with a fussy child they went above and beyond to accommodate her request. The food was good and was told would be half hour wait however the wait wasn't long and came out before.
Would recommend eating here but would advise to prebook to avoid missing out.

After deciding on eating out we choose the surrey, with two kids and one with special needs the were very accommodating not only catering for our food order but also very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and presented well.

Appalling service

Arranged to meet relatives as we have met here before. Completely disappointed. We ordered 4 meals. Two arrived and these were eaten before the other 2 arrived. Simply unacceptable. Told there was new staff in the kitchen but that is not our problem.

Terrible Service.Booked a table on Sunday for a Birthday treat for our Daughter.After being seated and given the menus,on ordering we were told “The Kitchen was Closed for an hour”.After asking the staff twice to notify us when the Cooking would resume,we only realised it was running again by other people ordering at the counter.
Finally received our order 2 hours later,But unfortunately Parts of every meal was missing ,and most wasn’t cooked properly.
Obviously we never stayed to wait for desserts.
Made a complaint to Greenking Breweries,But unfortunately we’re never given a reply.
Shame because we had high hopes for this pub.

Worst pub EVER

Enjoying a Saturday night meal with friends, with a small disco going on in the background, at about 9pm. 4 travellers walked in and started one of the biggest fights i have witnessed. They went behind the bar, beat up the barman, some other people that were just enjoying themselves. Didnt know what to do!! So many people knocked out and hurt. Disgusting behaviour, and the next day we went to complain, as we didnt even finish our meals, and the landlady's response EXACTLY was: 'well it is a pub, fights happen'. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN.

My partner was the original person they started on, he is very lucky to be alive as they first suspected minor bleed to the brain. The attitude of the landlord & landlady that night was unbelievable, especially as so many of their regular customers and staff were seriously injured. I have never witnessed anything so shocking and will never set foot in there again.
