The Source Skills Academy

The Source is a training and development centre set up by British Land in partnership with Sheffield City Council in 2003. Established as a charity, the facilities include a café and mock shop for students. Since its launch, The Source has built a national reputation for excellence in retail and customer service training.

The Source is a national training provider, offering employee training, staff development and conferencing facilities for all sectors of the local community and local businesses.

The innovative training and development centre offers training programmes aimed at supporting local businesses with their training needs and encouraging inward investment in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region.

A broad spectrum of training programmes is offered at The Source in Sheffield, geared specifically towards a business audience, ranging from first aid and customer service training courses through to higher management training. The Source prides itself on the ability to create bespoke training courses for businesses in various disciplines. Employee training can be tailored to meet business needs and objectives and can be adapted to any existing training programmes in place.

Through the Sheffield City Region Skills Bank, we are now able to offer an extensive portfolio of training courses such as Management, Finance, Marketing, ICT and accredited courses such as ILM and CIPS.
