I provide a personal, reliable and professional home mainteance service ranging from those small jobs that niggle and never get done, to new installs, reapirs and renewals, refurbishment and emergency callout.

Tiny tasks range in duration form 1-3 hours for example replacing or repairing a tap, fitting a flat screen TV or an appliance, fitting additional sockets or light fittings, slightly bigger jobs a 0.5-2 days include hanging doors, design and build of bespoke storage, opening up fireplaces, laying flooring. Bigger projects of over 3 days include building bespoke summerhouses, and whole room refurbishments.

Based in Greystones S11 I operate primarily within a 2-3mile radius. I carry a wide range of materials and tools to allow work to be done expediently.

I warranty my work, provide full libaility insurance, and am supported by a continuous stream of 5 star reviews and references. I am happy to pop round to give advice at no cost if it helps you care for your home.

Exceptional and a sheer delight

I'm having my bedroom redone atm and its been a nightmare. Workmen don't have a pride in their work. But then comes along The Smiling Home and that's all changed. The effort Simon puts into your home is unmatched along with his expertise. By far the best work I've got done. Couldn't be more pleased 😀. Exceptional.

Standing The Test Of Time

We were recomended Simon's services back during the first lockdown.
A really approachable guy, with lots of invention and skills to match.
He built our summerhouse, and designed a wrap-around storage extension that integrated so well with the original design. Extending the summerhouse meant we needed a bespoke roof too - again, no problem for Simon. I'd meant to add a review for some time now, but what prompted me was using the summerhouse again, during the recent good weather.
Got to say, two years later - everything is looking at good now, as it did when Simon left.
Thanks Simon - hope the 'late' review carries more weight than a prompt one!
