Just beyond the urban sprawl from Huddersfield, this pub is a classy food pub with rich smells in the air at mealtimes. Multiple rooms, some non-smoking and a beer garden. Five real ales and a plethora of clocks, few of which seem to have the right time.

a proper pub: open fires, excellent simple food.
