Situated in the heart of the English countryside, The Red Lion at Corley Moor offers all you could expect from a traditional pub restaurant. With a wide choice of dishes on our menu we can provide something for everyone, ranging from traditional favorites such as Quigley’s Sausage and Mash, to more adventurous creations such as the Chicken Moz - a breast of chicken topped with prawns, smoked salmon & grilled brie.

At the bar you will find a good choice of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We have a range of hand pulled real ales on offer, such as Hooky Bitter from the Hook Norton Brewery in Oxfordshire, to the more local Vicars Ruin from the Church End Brewery down the road in Warwickshire, and the fine Tribute ale from the St Austells Brewery in Cornwall. Our guest ales do rotate on a fairly regular basis, so please feel free to call us to find out what we have on at the moment.

My friend and I use the Red Lion on a regular basis (at least once per month) it has a good menu with a lot of choice , we have tried most of the items on the menu and have not been disappointed yet ( been using it for a number of years now) beer wise there are normally 3 cask ales on tap of which at least one is normally to my taste at least , a small "taster" is normally available on request if the ales are not familiar to you , staff are pleasant friendly and attentive , a large amount of the produce is also sourced locally making most of the food "home made"

Much improved food

Not having used the Red Lion for over 7 years after poor food served, my wife and I decided to give it a another try...The service was very good and efficient and the food was very good indeed. Much care is given to presentation and good quality food is served and in a reasonable time. The vegetables served with dishes were not underdone or overdone-just right. Since then we've been back three times and on each occassion the same level of service and food quality matches as previously described....Highly recommended

Very Poor

I visited this Pub recently with my son to enjoy a meal after work. I have been here many times before, over quite a few years. My son ordered a 10oz rump steak, and after been told the pork loin displayed on the specials board was not available, I also settled for the same steak. Both were ordered as medium rare and were what I consider to be restaurant prices. After about 15-20 mins the said meals arrived. The steaks we so well done they would have given a good 12 months wear if I had nailed them onto the soles of my shoes. My son decided not to complain, as he was hungry, but I went to complain straight away and had it taken away, only to wait another 15-20 minuts while my son ate his meal. When my meal finally returned it wasn't much better still quite medium to well done. I reluctantly ate it as I too was hungry and did not want to wait any longer. The steaks were very thin, so probably easy to over cook. The steak came with a bowl of chips, some chopped mushrooms and half an under ripe tomato, for £12.90 very poor value for money and lacking any presentation or imagination, even if the steak was cooked right. I did make one big mistake going there, I should have gone to the Bull and Butcher up the road, as there meals are much better and cheaper too. It was just the fact that their car park was full, and would have found it difficult to park, that made me want to try the Red Lion again. Well this experience will certainly make me think not to return here in a hurry . Poor food at inflated prices, no thank you.
