POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES.

I purchased a duvet cover from The Range, Thurrock. Within two weeks of buying it, the stitching became loose and undone, so I returned the faulty product to the store for an exchange. After I returned home with the replacement item, I opened it to find the replacement duvet cover was wet and stained, but the packaging was clean and dry?! I took photos and emailed them to customer services and they simply told me to ‘take it back to the store again’. Do they expect me to go back and forth at least 3 times before I can get a reasonable conditioned new duvet cover?

Every time I have to drive back to The Range to get a replacement it costs me an extra £5 in Dart-Charge toll fees. I won’t bother returning it a second time and I certainty won’t be buying anything else from The Range again.

Poor observation of Covid restrictions in this store

I visited the store Wednesday 18 November last and found a long queue which was very badly ventilated to the tills. No-one was observing the 2m distancing and two women behind me did not wear a mask, they were chatting whole time saying they didn’t believe in all these Covid restrictions and the vaccine. I should have dropped everything and left the store, but I persevered and tried to keep my distance - to the till. One week later I have been tested positive for Covid 19 virus! Even though I always where a mask and use the hand sanitiser regularly. This is the only place I could have caught as I did not visit anywhere else in the time I could have caught. Hopefully I will be ok. It seems the store is looking after their employees with screens but with no one member of staff in charge of policing the safety of customers. When I left there was someone on the door restricting people entering, but by that time it was too late and the store was full.

I wish I had not bothered to phone the store fore help. The man that answered the phone was so abrupt it was border line rude. He put me through to customer services after waiting for 14 mins I hung up and have given up needless to say they have lost my business.

Made mistake of purchasing something

Attended store, entrance smelled strongly of urine, yuch. Place generally disheveled and untidy with staff on minimum wage who don't give a monkeys about their job.
Made mistake of purchasing something which fell apart on first usage. Staff refused to refund the faulty goods. I will pursue them in the small claims court.
Avoid this moronic bunch
