Here at the preschool we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) alongside the forest school ethos and are Ofsted registered Good.

Open five days a week Monday to Friday term time, 9am to 3pm. A Preschool situated within the Alan Talbott room of The Village Hall, Station Rd, Broughton Astley. Although the village hall has been the home of preschool's for more than 40 years, The Pre-school Playstation was opened by Sandra Rushforth in January 2001. Since then thousands of faces young and old have passed through the preschool family as we are just a quick stop on the journey of life. As of 2018, the preschool has its very own Level 3 Forest School leader and can now take up 12 children at time out on forest school trips weekly in our Adventure bus.

Amazing preschool

Brilliant preschool, staff are friendly and patient. Work hard with the children in all aspects, they take the time to get to know them all. Forest school and outings is a bonus! I wish id of sent my son here from the start because in 1 year hes come on so much compared to when he started!

This is a fab preschool, the staff really care and take the time to get to know the children.
I wish I had sent my eldest to this preschool.

The forest school and mini bus is a great addition and my daughter loved going on little trips.

The best 😁

I have two children who attended The Preschool Play Station & I could not thank them enough for the warmth, support and care that they both receive. My daughter who is just about to leave to start school is hearing impaired and they have made me feel so at ease, supporting her needs. This setting feels like a family and in comparison to previous nursery experiences it is by far the best I wish they could stay here forever! Thank you to you all for always providing a fun, safe learning environment.

My son attended The pre-school PlayStation a shy boy who as since completely come out of his shell and full of confidence, he has learnt so much and has so much fun, always excited every morning to see the wonderful, caring staff who always go that extra mile to make sure he is reaching his full potential, lots of exciting things to do and love that they also go out to the forest to explore nature. Highly recommended and can be sure that your child will be well cared for.
