Here at the preschool we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) alongside the forest school ethos and are Ofsted registered Good.
Open five days a week Monday to Friday term time, 9am to 3pm. A Preschool situated within the Alan Talbott room of The Village Hall, Station Rd, Broughton Astley. Although the village hall has been the home of preschool's for more than 40 years, The Pre-school Playstation was opened by Sandra Rushforth in January 2001. Since then thousands of faces young and old have passed through the preschool family as we are just a quick stop on the journey of life. As of 2018, the preschool has its very own Level 3 Forest School leader and can now take up 12 children at time out on forest school trips weekly in our Adventure bus.
