Great service and great vibe.. food needs a pep talk

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and fabulously yummy recommendations from the very welcoming Alexa on the 241 Thai cocktails. Staff all worked together seamlessly and fabulous service all-round. Food was not up to its usual tasty standards though so maybe kitchen just having an off day. Fabulous service and vibe more than made up for it.

Our party ate here on the 8th March 2012, the food being out of this world, the taste was like an explotion in your mouth, we all agreed that we've never experienced food like it before. Could not fault the food or service .... Thank you to Martin and his team for a memorable evening. We will visit again and recommend to anyone in the area to visit and experience the food.

Masterchef watch out!

The Pepper Tree

A few weeks after coming back from a month long holiday in Thailand, I was really craving authentic Thai food. I remembered that The Pepper Tree is always packed when I go past in the evening and so decided to get a takeaway from there. We got a chicken tom yum soup, prawn pad thai, seafood stir fry, papaya salad and rice. The dishes were slightly on the spicy side but to be fair, they were even spicier in Thailand!! The seafood stir fry excelled my expectations, there was a good mix of fish and tasted beautiful. The pad thai had a perfect balance of sweet and sour with crunch mixed in with the soft noodles. The food isn't as good as in Thailand but it's a close enough subsitute! I'm looking forward to trying more things from the menu.
