A newcomer to Pilates, I went from mat to Reformer and can honestly say after a short while i began to love my Monday morning ‘me’ time.

Without realising it, The Movement Base became such an inherent part of my ‘get healthy’ objective to reverse my being so close to having type 2 Diabetes, through changing my lifestyle via food choice and exercise.

Two stone lighter and all was going well then lockdown happened....No more Pilates!!

Many many weeks later (seemed like a lifetime) happily they were allowed to open again following strict covid guidelines which help to give confidence in returning to the studios.

Hooray to be back!

I cannot recommend the Movement Base enough. Sam and Glenn are both highly qualified and professional. They are both lovely people who genuinely care for their clients well-being.

If you want to make your body stronger from your core and your objective is to be a fitter happier you, then try Pilates, it definitely works.

Great Pilates!

Having had minor back problems for many years I was keen to see if Pilates could help. I was a complete beginner when I started at the Movement Base so I opted for 1:1 sessions with Sam. Sam is a great teacher; she is patient and gives lots of encouragement, she also pushes you to achieve the best you can. I enjoy the sessions and am definitely feeling the benefit. I have a better understanding of my body and can feel an improvement in my back. I highly recommend the Movement Base.
