The Living Room Place Furzedown Venue

I recently used the Living Room Place for my baby shower. The host was great & communicated everything clearly, so this made booking very easy.

On the day support is very good too & I got a response almost instantly. The space itself is over 2 floors, so a nice varied space to use, with white walls. There are lots of additional facilities but would be great if there were speakers, but this isn’t a huge issue as you can bring your own!

Overall, I would definitely recommend to friends/family & some have already said they will book this space for their events!

Lovely space for an intimate event. Large windows allow lots of natural light. Lots of facilities in allowing small snacks to be prepared on site. Good parking. All topped off by good open communication with the owner.

We’ve used The Living Room three times now - once to hold a first aid class for a group of us, and then twice as simply a space to meet up with our babies/toddlers where there is then no pressure on a single person to host.

Between the comfortable and homely downstairs area, with its sofas, tables, and a kitchen, and the blank space of upstairs (it was perfect for holding the class) with the easily-accessible toilet and a baby gate at the top of the stairs, there has always been just what we need at The Living Room. I’m sure we will be back soon enough!

The Living Room Streatham came up trumps for my dad’s surprise 80th birthday party. It was the ideal intimate venue to host such an amazing and beautiful evening.

I would like to thank James again for all is help from the day I enquired about booking the venue. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. I couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. It really did exceed all exceptions of how the venue looked on the day, and how the day came together after I decorated the venue.

I will always recommend the living room to anyone looking for a small venue.

Everything was clean and we were able to use the facilities fully. Chairs, tables were provided. I was allowed to hire extras eg tableware etc to add to the evening.

The living room is an idea venue for all your event needs. Will definitely use again. Wish I could post pictures.

We had a baby shower/party here and it a perfect location, the space was ideal (split level meant it wasn't crowded and we could set up own little cocktail bar downstairs!), and the team were very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend you book your event here.
