Fantastic pub food with friendly staff

5
My Wife and I visited the Lamb at Weare during our stay at the Webbington Hotel in Loxton.
We were recommended to the pub by another pub that had stopped serving food (Sunday evening) and we were so glad we took their advice.
The pub was busy but the owner still took time to look after us and sort out a table for us.
The menu included Sunday dinner as well as a number of other choices.
My wife chose Roast Pork and veg and roast potatoes whilst I chose Lasagne (which came with chips, garlic bread, coleslaw and salad!)
The food was very generous in portions and tasted of real homely cooking. It certainly was well worth the £7.95 we paid for each.
For desert, my wife chose bhome made bread and butter pudding, and it was chocolate pudding for me. Slightly expensive at £4.25 and £3.75 but well worth it for the taste.
So for £25 a two course meal for two and a drink each too. Very friendly staff throughout, very courteous and made to feel welcome from the start.
Highly recommended and we will certainly choose this pub again when in the area.
