Business overview

The acclaimed musician Jools Holland opened The Jam House in 1999 in an historic building in Birmingham's St. Paul's Square. The Georgian venue has seating for 600 people, spread across different floors. Being a musician's concept, live music is obviously an integral part of The Jam House. However, the food doesn't play second fiddle as the menu proves; international dishes such as squid with parsley and horseradish foam, chorizo with Put lentils and red onion and turbot with a lobster ravioli. With an extensive selection of drinks, great music and three courses costing an average of £35 per person, The Jam House offers all the ingredients for a great night out.

Rip off Stay away !!!!!

Terrible the bar staff are very slow, they charge you £8 entrance fee and the entertainment is pretty standard (does not warrant an £8 fee). The drinks are extortionately priced at nearly £10 for a pint of Tuborg and a small glass of house rose. If i were you i would save my money and go somewhere else like the living room where the entertainment is similar, there is no entrance fee and in my opinion its better as they hire better live performers. The drinks in the living room are similarly priced but at least they have the decency to give you a premium lager like Estrella, Vedett , Duval when you pay your premium price.

a good evening out

a very nice way to spend an evening in here. live music, plenty of drinks which are quite reasonable and a good atmosphere. The food is really nice too and not expensive which is good when you get what you paid for.

The atmosphere is chilled and relaxed at times and the people and staff seem very friendly and chatty too. Here, people just came up and started to chat to us which I thought was really nice and it makes it a more enjoyable evening.

Most of my friends had been here before but I hadn't and I was totally surprised by how nice it was and what a good evening we all had. Will definitely be coming here again soon.
