Low quality food and appalling service

We went to Ivy Market Grill Covent Garden to celebrate the 60th birthday of our dear friend. The service by the receptionist and the waiters was appalling. The door receptionist drag my coat all over the floor because she was uninterested to lift the hanger onto which the coat was hanged. The waitress was impolite and brought a wrong order twice. The food was far from the quality we got in Ivy King’s Road. Steaks were chewy and scallops were from the freezer and cooked with too much sauce as to cover up the taste of low quality scallops. We needed to remind her to bring us steak knives, salt and pepper, not to try (again) to remove the basket of bread from the table, etc. The toilets were truly dirty and there was no toilet paper anywhere. Overall, a truly appalling experience and a huge of waste of money.

Great venue and service

We visited the ivy market grill for lunch on Mother’s Day. The venue has a great atmosphere and the food and staff were excellent. I would be happy to go here again.
