terrible
I took my rabbit there to have his nails clipped.the guy who did it,refused to let me go into the treatment room with him,and he forced me to wait in reception.my rabbit is a rescue pet,and he gets nervous around strangers.he came back in a terrible state.when I got him home,he was shaking in the corner for 3 hours.i sent an email of complaint to one of the owners of the practice,(not jim). And all his reply was,"well it's better than coming back with a broken leg". What sort of answer is that? Luckily I've registered with another vets now,who do care about animals and give good service to the animals and the owners. AVOID THIS PRACTICE!!!!!!!

Fabulous Vets
I can't fault this vets having used them since moving to Stafford 13 years ago. They have cared for my animals with kindness, expert knowledge, and most recently great compassion as my very ill, elderly cavalier passed away. Amazing service, fabulous care.

Friendly Professional Service
The nurses were so helpful and fitted me in to their extremely busy diary so that my dog could be seen the same day.
The vet I saw was extremely helpful and explained everything to me in a clear way no jargon.
What a lovely feeling to come away understanding everything i had been told and what i needed to do next. I was relieved to see that my dogs treatment was not as expensive as i had expected.
I would thoroughly recommend this practise

RCVS TRYING TO PUT OBSTACLES IN THE WAY BUT , FORGIVE THE PUN, I AM LIKE A DOG WITH A BONE ON THIS ONE AND WILL NOT GIVE UP LEGAL ACTION WILL HAPPEN IF THE RCVS ,TRY TO COVER UP WHAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE DONE TO US. I HAD ALWAYS HAD GOOD SERVICE UNTIL MY BOY WAS SERIOUSLY ILL, AND WHILST MUNDELL WAS THERE AS HE HAD 8 BULLMASTIFFS THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE AND SO AS WELL AS BEING A GOOD VET HE WAS AN EXPERT IN THE BREED. IF ONLY HE HAD BEEN ON THAT SUNDAY HE WOULD HAVE ADMITTED HIM AND STARTED TREATMENT, I SLEPT WITH MY DOG ON THE SUNDAY NIGHT THINKING THAT AS HE HAD BEEN SENT HOME HE WOULD BE OK BY THE MONDAY/TUESDAY. THE TREATMENT HE RECEIVED WAS AT BEST INCOMPETENT AT WORST NEGLIGENT , CRIMINAL AND CERTAINLY INDEFENSIBLE

I have to admit
I have to admit there are many varied comments on this site. We actually used this vets and for years they were fine. That was up until our dog got quite ill. Then it became all about the money and not about the well-being of the animal. We had problem after problem with them, they messed up with treatment, became annoyed/terse with us for asking questions, even though they were to get the best advice on care for our pet and caused us no end of stress and upset in an already difficult time. I think that the positive comments on this site are probably from the people like me who, up until this complication, had a good service due to having routine issues. The moment that a critical and costly issue was thrown into the mix the vets attitude changed for the worse. I just hope that this does not happen to anyone else as the upset to both our dog and to us as a family (especially the young ones as its hard to explain to them that their beloved friend is ill and not going to get better) is devastating. I have to admit that we did consider going to a different vets, however we did not want to disrupt what our little man was already used to and cause more stress. I have to admit though, I will not use this vets again, that is if we decide to get another dog, its still a bit raw and upsetting to consider.
