The Hair Lounge

Been here a few times , overall the experience is not ideal . Girls are friendly enough , but expect to be waiting about alot . I had 3 people do my hair from start to finish , constant change over , left waiting at the sink while others were left at the seats with wet hair for a considerable amount of time . When they blow dry your hair they don't even use a blow dry brush . Left with my hair very flat and lifeless. They never have used any treatments or products to give my hair volume or shine. Girl that does the till is very rude, always claiming their card machine is broken and then when I can't get cash out suddenly it's back working again . They only offer certain customers drinks while there , on every occasion I've been left sitting with nothing . Prices also vary quite drastically for the Same thing everytime I go . Overall not a great experience, easy to get a Same day appointment but will be There hours .

I decided to try a different salon and was drawn here (Lisburn salon) because of the big sign saying they won the NI hair and beauty award 2018. What a mistake! Never had a worse cut in all my life. I've had better cuts from trainee hairdressers. The colour has left my hair feeling very dry. Now I'm gonna have to fork out to have it fixed at another salon and go shorter than I had wanted to get rid of the ridiculous layers. Also, my face, ears and neck are all extremely stained from the dye and my head is throbbing. Honestly never had a worse experience.

Quick service, and good questioning before any action taken on hair. Very pleased.
