There’s lots of entertainment with regular events, including live music the last Friday of every month and monthly themed parties and menus, the Halloween parties in the past have had a full size ghost train, spooky! To find out what’s happening go to the what’s on guide

The pub is situated in the centre of Burton on the Wolds, just 5 minutes off the A46 at Six Hills or 5 minutes from the village of Quorn and the A60. Boasting a large car park, beautiful gardens to the front & rear of the pub it’s a great venue to get away from the hustle and bustle in minutes.

On a beautiful summer’s day the rear patio terrace & enclosed garden, make it the perfect place to relax & dine. Bookings are not necessary but at peak times it might be wise. We can take bookings online and we will confirm the receipt by email or phone. The pub has disabled access & facilities, children are welcome and we have a big outside area for warm days.

The Greyhound is the perfect place for your party !! We can offer bespoke catering to bring the elegance and quality the pub is renowned for into your home, venue or workplace. Dinner parties, birthdays, weddings or corporate event can all be catered for.

Excellent service and staff

Called here on 8/7/21 as a family celebration, we were given a fantastic welcome and service by the young lady working behind the bar and waitressing. Food was reasonable given the covid difficulties, we have eaten here before and the food was exceptional. Top marks to the staff.

The Greyhound nightmare !

I was unfortunate enough to come across the grey hound inn last week and viewed there web page and thought it would be a nice pub / restaurant to try out as i live local to it , From the second i called the restaurant i had a bad feeling about it the lady on the phone who i found out was the buisness owner later on when i had to ask to speak to some one in charge because i wasnt happy with her manner on the phone , laughted at me down the phone was seriously rude to me when i had to rearrange becaus eof family problems and in the end told me she dint think i should come in to the restaurant if i was not happy with her phone manor , But i decided agaist her strange choice to turn away buisness and still went in . when she realised she had spoken to me on the phone she had attitude with me and my family members she stook us in the corner , there was no one else in the resturant ( BAD SIGN OR WHAT ) and there was also no music at all , the food was not award winning and neither was the atmosphere , I found the staff of whome i could only see one strange women wondering round a empty restaurant exstemely rude , ignorant and abrupt ! Do not use this place my first and last time ........
