Shameless people run this establishment1
Not a good restaurant, you go eat here and they nicely serve you and months later they try and charge you for parking . A nasty letter comes to your door demanding money for parking, shameless people run this establishment. We dined and had drinks and still they want money for parking. Threatening us if we do pay £170 then they will charge us ! There is no notification anywhere ! Watch out this restaurant is trying to make extra money out of its customers! We are waiting for this establishment to take us to court then we will produce our evidence and will counter claim and then go to the media and release a press release about this establishment! Shameless people .

takeaways at the grange3
i recently ordered a takeaway from the grange. The food was to a very high standard. As i was ordering the phone was constantly engaged so I couldn't get through. As a customer i do not need this as a customer. I have tried messaging the owner via social media but he hasn't replied.

The Grange restaurant in Beddington Park, Wallington1
Our family decided to gather for a Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Having checked the menu online, we were not sure if it was just roast available or the continental menu as this was not clear. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just 'roast', vegetable lasagne or a fish dish. Initially, the parking was a problem - really bad sinage from the road, and not at all clear where the car park was. On entering we were not greeted at all, and loitered by a likely looking table until the sullen faced waitress arrived. We sat down to what looked like a works 'do' table (photo-copied menus on un-laminated A4 paper). Between 11 of us there was only one wine list/dessert menu, duly splattered with the last guests gravy! Sullen waitress re-appeared to take our drinks order, and when asked what the house white wine was, she mumbled that it was 'the top one'. We pointed out that we didnt have the wine list as another family member was looking at it, so she promptly reached over him to turn the page. When he looked a bit strangely at her, she procured another gravy splattered wine list from another table, and we all made our drinks order. After a while our drinks arrived, minus one - funnily enough it was the house white! The sullen waitress then brought two out - we were beginning to get a little worried, as the drinks order alone seemed to be causing problems! We all ordered our meals, and the starters arrived - one of which was wrong, we mentioned it, got a blank look, so we took the starter anyway to avoid any further delay. Starters were OK - definately nothing special, nothing looked very 'homemade', rather defrosted or pre cooked. The mains then arrived - roasts of various sorts - I personally do not really enjoy roast - I certainly would not choose to order one when I go out, but the vegetarian options were equally dull in my opinion. Aunt Bessie had done The Grange proud - or at least I assume thats who was cooking - the stuffing were somewhat similar to warm hockey pucs, and the roast chicken was not slices but a chicken breast - I doubt a whole chicken had been cooked at all. The gravy tasted like a powder mix, and the veg were all at different stages of being cooked - some OK ,others raw. A few further drinks were ordered, and when the waitress asked who ordered the coke, becuase we were all chatting and catching up, we didnt answer her immediately so she had to ask twice - this did not please her, and she banged the glass down on the table whith a nasty glare! Some of us ordered dessert, which again all looked rather 'processed', the apple pie being worse than an old fashioned school dinner ( of the worst kind!). We thought that coffee would be safe, only to discover that all they could offer was instant ( and not very good instant at that) as the costa machine was out of order - as it had been for a few months apparantly. They assured us that the costa coffee prices would not be charged - which they were, but refunded after a phone call the next day!! All in all a fantastic time as we got to catch up with family who we dont see very often, but quite frankly, a bad motorway service station could offer a better meal and service. So a word of warning - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
