With branches throughout the north west and an extensive website, we offer an unbeatable range of stoves, fires and heaters.

Our staff are all highly trained to serve your individual requirements, whether it be in store or online, and we strive to find the correct product for your home.

The two managing directors started the company from humble beginnings, selling plaster fire surrounds, way back in the early nineties, before moving in to industrial units in Burnley, Lancashire. They now own many showrooms around the North West and remain one of the largest sellers of fireplaces, stoves and fires on the internet.

Their flagship showroom in Burnley is state of the art, covering three vast floors. Many of the displays are ‘live’ so our customers can see what they are really buying whilst chilling out with a coffee in our ‘no pressure’ environment. The two MDs still take an active role within the company and can be quite often be seen chatting to customers in the showrooms. ( they also don’t make a bad cup of coffee too! )

Our success is thanks to our ever evolving range, both in store and online, to make sure that the latest products are always available to our customers.

We also have our own, custom built, National Distribution Centre with dedicated warehouse staff and delivery drivers to make sure your new purchase arrives safely and on time. This enables us to serve customers all around the UK, from Cornwall all the way up to the Scottish Highlands.

We offer an in house specialist fitting service from the simplest of gas fire changes to the more complicated new installs of solid fuel and flue systems, and all the installers are carefully regulated by ourselves and either Gas Safe or Hetas. Would not recommend or use again.
Raised a complaint within 24 hours of fitting. Various scuffs, pitting, poor surface finish and damage marks.
After having to chase the complaints department several times they eventually sent out an assessor a few weeks later - who agreed and explained what had happened in the manufacturing process and said he would file a report.
Waited another 2 weeks - chased it again only to be told they would remove the fireplace and return my money - but not the money I paid to their fitter (sub contractor but arrived in a Fireplace Warehouse van).
Therefore we’d be left with no fire and £300 out of pocket for fitting.
Really poor service.

We were sceptical after reading the reviews but decided to visit and boy are we glad we did, the showroom is massive compared the the pokey shops we had previously looked at. From the staff in the shop to the fitters nothing was too much trouble. I like most people only leave reveiws when I want to moan or complain but when you get 5 star service it needs to be applauded.

Very poor service, however very quick to take tour money. I placed an order for a fire place that has arrived and is faulty with a broken glass and the gas engineer has deemed it dangerous. Been. In touch with the Burnley branch and been chasing them for over 8 days and even deny speaking to you saying it’s
The first they heard of. Been told by a gentleman last Friday that the glass will be in the post and today 7 days later nothing. When u ring in I’m told that the lady I need to
Speak to is on lunch and no one returns the calls. My advice is please avoid as not professional at all

However I have had a gentleman contact me today and promised to send me a new gas fire . ITs taken 8 days to get to this stage so fingers crossed I will receive the replacement early next week, so the proofs in the pudding, fingers crossed all goes well

Poor experience

Unfortunately we have not had the best experience with this company, which has led to our order being cancelled. The whole experience has been very stressful. I would suggest either using another company altogether if you require a full order and installation, or visit the showroom to help you decide what you like and then order online for cheaper elsewhere and find your own installer.

Unfortunately after having a discussion with others we have found they have had a similar experience.

Awful after care

Awful Company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Only bothered about the sale. Bought 2 fire places worth over £6000. Have had constant issues after only 3 months of installation. Have to haggle on the phone for hrs just to get through to the right person or even be given a number. Initially told you get a 5 year warranty only now to be told I must service it every year for the warranty to be in play. Please avoid do not buy.
Use old systems to locate your order with an order number. Cant find by postcode ?? Avoid avoid avoid if you have kids and want your rooms warm all the time

Hi Umar, Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you feel that we have not been of help to you. I have looked at the records we hold and can see that you purchased the fire on 19th April 2018 and we delivered on 17th May 2018, The fires were then installed by your own fitter in November 2018. A fault was reported 8th July 2019 and the manufacturers attended and fixed the fault under the products guarantee and you were happy with this repair. A fault was reported on 4th March 2021 and we asked if a service had been carried out as every gas fire should be serviced once in every 12 months. This is a requirement of the manufacturers to validate their guarantees and warranties as detailed in the products user manual, as no services have been carried out in the last 2 years unfortunatley the warranty is void. As we suugested a full service of the fire as per the manufactures instructions should remedy most faults. Kind regards The Fireplace Warehouse
