The Fireplace

Graham and team were great guys and installed a gas fire for my dad. The whole process took about 5 weeks from survey to installation, not too bad. The workmanship is good, but the company falls short on customer service. As a customer I paid on time and with respect. However, for me, I lost out on a days wages (£650) as I went to my elderly dads flat to be there when the fire was being installed and they forgot to tell me it was not happening that day. I found out when I was 5 minutes away. Secondly, I booked them in to do a survey at my own house, they cancelled me and never came back to my emails or phone calls. It’s not great guys, I’m frustrated as I paid on time to you and believe I should have had the same respect in return.

I took the trouble to seek out as I thought a professional company to replace my log burner. Having had a visit from Gerry and then a further visit from Graham - all of this over 1 month ago and getting confirmation that the job could be done. Taking my time to perhaps get a half decent job done - but up to the present time I have had nothing from The Fireplace Shop in Ilford - very disappointed indeed - how not to run a business and treat customers!! A potential customer in the Upminster area.

Absolutely love our log burner which was installed by Graham and his team. The work was done to a high standard and they made sure our home was protected as much as possible whilst the work was being carried out. We had a minor snag following the installation but Graham came round to resolve it promptly. Would definitely recommend!

I was very impressed with this company who provided me with excellent service. I made several visits to the shop and the staff , especially Mollie, were very helpful, there were so many options and I was given lots of advice on the fireplace that would suit my home. I never felt under any pressure to make a quick decision. On the day of installation Graham and Verge arrived in time , they were courteous, polite and friendly, both worked extremely hard. Graham’s workmanship was excellent and both went the extra mile to make sure of an excellent end result, they left my home clean and tidy. I am extremely happy with the result and have no hesitation in recommending them

Very impressed with Graham and the team.
Their price was competitive and the service they provided was excellent. From helping me source the right type of look for my living room fireplace, right through to the installation.
After the installation Graham personally came back to provide me a full demo.
I would definitely recommend Graham for his friendly knowledge and attentive installation.
