Driving lessons from The Driving Training Centre (The DTC) are delivered by fully qualified and Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) registered with the DVSA, we teach both manual and automatic driving lessons, we are based in Edinburgh, but have Driving Instructors covering Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Currie and many more areas in between (see our map of the areas we cover). We have both male and female Driving Instructors teaching driving lessons in modern reliable cars.

Our Driving Instructors specialise in Intensive Driving Courses as well as weekly driving lessons. Each and every driving lesson is tailored to your individual need, ensuring that progress is made to get you ready for your theory and practical driving test and most importantly, ensure that you are ready for whatever situation arises when you pass.

As well as English speaking instructors, we have instructors who can speak Polish, Urdu and Punjabi.

Lessons with Shoib ended with a passed practical exam. The atmosphere during the classes was chilled out, fun and you can speak with him about any topic. He explained the concepts very well. However, if you don't know the answer, he forces you to think, which in my opinion is a huge plus. Before we moved to maneuvers or bypass driving, we stopped and instructor explained everything step by step, about being cautious and focused on the road. Each delay was preceded by a text message, but he was always on the original time. Sho understands his students and adapts to their needs. Theremore, always ready for questions even outside of your study hours.

Started my driving lessons with The Driving Training centre in January and just passed my driving test first time this week. My experience learning to drive has over all been a good one and I highly recommend The driving training centre to anyone who is wanting to learn to drive or is a bit nervous or anxious as they offer tremendous support to their students. They have the best driving instructors and you get your money's worth for the full packed lessons you will be paying for. My driving instructor was Ray and based at Great Junction Great.

I had a very good experience learning how to drive at the driving training centre. I had a great instructor (Shoeib) who explained things really well and made me feel at ease in the car, which allowed me to pass my test on 1st attempt. Would highly recommend!

This place and the staff are absolutely amazing my son was struggling really badly with his theory test (failed 15 times) he attended the course for 9 hrs over 3 nights and his scores nearly doubled on his theory test and he has now passed,i honestly believe that this wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support from the driving training centre and I would like to leave a special mention for Janet she was so kind and helpful and answered all my questions and made myself and Ross fell at ease.thanks again.
