Founded in 1998, the school operates across North and North West London and reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area. Roy really made Learning to drive an enjoyable experience. Before lock down I had lessons with someone else and I used to dread them. With Roy I was excited to learn and quickly became confident behind the wheel.
Roy has a very calm temperament and when I made mistakes he made constructive criticism fun. He was thorough in explaining things and there where no wrong or stupid questions.
I cannot rate him high enough. I will be recommending Roy to everyone wanting to learn to drive. If you are wanting to learn automatic driving Roy’s your man :)

5After just my first lesson i began to actually enjoy learning to drive, so relaxed with ease, thats when it all finally started come together, this didn't happen with the awful instructors that i had lessons with before.
So if your looking for a fantastic driving instructor to bring out the best competent, confident & safe driver in you! then Roy from The Driving Gurus is the one for you. He's a wonderful person first & foremost! professional, calm, straight forward, no negative nonsense & by far the best driving instructor i have had the pleasure to learn to drive with, he's simply amazing. I high recommend. Best driving instructor in North London!!

Superb instructor for nervous drivers!
5Having had experiences with other instructors that did nothing for my nerves or ability, Roy’s approach helped me greatly. You don’t learn things by rote, as I know some instructors love to spout acronyms which mean very little to you when you’re hurtling 50mph on a dual carriageway and there’s an annoying Uber driver in the vicinity messing up your game. Instead you come to learn instinctively what you must do in given situations in a natural way.
Roy uses the lesson time to talk things through and demonstrate, as well as be a brilliant laugh as well. For nervous drivers, the important thing to know is that he goes to great lengths to ease your nerves and helps you understand why you’re doing something. We also identified my weaker areas and focused on them.
Test day came and went. We all went home happy. Thanks!
